Job description

You sell holidays from our Dubai office: hotel and theme park packages in Dubai, multi-day group tours across Europe, Asia and the Caucasus, ladies-only trips, and tailor-made trips for families and couples flying out of the Gulf. Most enquiries reach us on WhatsApp, on the phone and through the forms on holidayys.com. You answer the same working day, work out what the trip should cost, send a clear quote, and carry it through to the booking, the payment, the documents and the departure. The office is in Al Jaffliya, Dubai. You work beside our visa team and deal directly with tour operators, hotels and airlines.

Key responsibilities

• Answer enquiries from WhatsApp, the phone, email and the website on the same working day
• Build quotes for hotels, tours, transfers, tickets and flights, and say plainly what each price includes
• Follow up on open quotes until the customer books or tells you the trip is off
• Book with our suppliers and check every confirmation, name and date before it goes to the customer
• Take payments, raise the invoice and hand the paperwork to accounts
• Keep every enquiry, quote and booking current in our system, so anyone can pick up the file
• Send travel documents, vouchers and joining instructions before departure, and stay reachable while the customer is away
• Ask happy customers for a Google review, and pass any complaint to the manager the day it arrives

Requirements

• At least 2 years selling holidays, hotels or tours, ideally in the UAE or the wider Gulf
• Comfortable quoting and closing on WhatsApp and the phone, not only by email
• Fluent spoken and written English; Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil or Arabic is an advantage
• Accurate with names, dates and passport details: one wrong date costs a customer their trip
• Willing to work a Saturday or Sunday shift on a rota
• Already in the UAE, or able to join us at short notice

Qualifications

• Secondary school certificate at minimum; a diploma or degree in travel and tourism is welcome
• Training on an airline booking system such as Amadeus or Galileo is an advantage
• Clear, polite writing: a customer should understand a quote without calling you back
• Honest about what a trip does and does not include
