Job description

Europe is the trip our customers save for, and this role owns that desk: our fixed-date group tours through Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Eastern Europe and the Balkans, and tailor-made Europe trips for families, couples and groups of friends leaving from Dubai and the Gulf. You quote it, you hold the seats with the operator, and you plan the whole trip backwards from the Schengen appointment so the visa is in hand before the flight. You will know the itineraries well enough to tell a customer which tour suits them and which one does not. The office is in Al Jaffliya, Dubai. You work with our visa team on every traveller's file and with our tour operators on seats, rooming and changes.

Key responsibilities

• Quote and sell our fixed-date Europe group tours and tailor-made Europe trips
• Hold seats with the tour operator and keep names, dates and rooming lists correct
• Plan each trip backwards from the Schengen appointment, so no one pays for a flight they cannot take
• Work with the visa team on documents, cover letters, insurance and bank papers for every traveller
• Compare flight options from Dubai and the Gulf cities and quote the fare with the tour
• Explain exactly what a tour includes, down to meals, city taxes, tips and optional excursions
• Tell the team the day an operator changes a price, a hotel or a departure date, so the website stays correct
• Handle amendments, cancellations and refunds with the operator, and keep the customer informed

Requirements

• At least 2 years selling Europe holidays or group tours, from the UAE or India
• Knows the Schengen process: which consulate takes which file, how long an appointment takes, what a complete file holds
• Can read an operator's itinerary and spot what is missing before the customer does
• Fluent spoken and written English, and comfortable on WhatsApp and the phone all day
• Available for a Saturday or Sunday shift on a rota
• Already in the UAE, or able to join us at short notice

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in travel and tourism, or the same knowledge learned on the desk
• Has travelled in Europe, or knows its geography well enough to plan a route that works
• Accurate with dates, names and passport details
• Calm when a visa is refused and a departure has to move
