The short answer: Dubai Miracle Garden opened its 15th season on Thursday 8 October 2026 and runs until 31 May 2027. It's open 9am to 9pm every day, with last entry at 8:30pm. On the garden's own site, tickets are AED 100 for adults (13 and over) and AED 80 for children aged 3 to 12, and under-3s go free. UAE residents pay AED 70 and AED 50 once they've verified their Emirates ID. A combo with the Butterfly Garden next door costs AED 140. You can also book our Dubai Miracle Garden ticket with instant confirmation, on the same booking as the rest of your Dubai plans.
On paper, Miracle Garden sounds like a gimmick: a flower garden in the desert, with a jumbo jet parked in it. Then you're standing beside a full-size Emirates A380 covered in half a million flowers, and it's hard not to grin. When people ask us what to do in Dubai between October and May, it's usually on the list, and the questions that follow are nearly always the same. What does it cost this year? Is the resident rate worth the hassle? When can you go without it being 35°C or packed? And how do you get there without a car? This guide answers all of them, with Season 15's prices and everything we checked on 9 October 2026.

What is Dubai Miracle Garden?
It's a seasonal flower garden of about 72,000 square metres in Al Barsha South, inland from Mall of the Emirates, and it first opened on Valentine's Day 2013. Most of the flowers aren't planted in beds. They're grown over frames, so you walk through arches, tunnels, walls, animals, a castle, a clock and an aeroplane, all of them alive. The garden quotes more than 150 million flowers a season, and the Season 15 launch put this year's figure at over 200 million, across more than 150 varieties. Many of the displays are replanted or rebuilt every year, and the whole site shuts for the summer, when no petunia stands a chance.
It isn't a botanical garden and doesn't pretend to be. You go for the spectacle, the colour and the photos, not to learn plant names. Go expecting a big, cheerful, very Dubai morning out, and you'll have a good time.
What's new in Season 15
- A theme every week. For the first time, each week of the season has its own theme, following the UAE calendar. The opening weeks cover Pink October, United Nations Day, UAE Flag Day and Diwali. Dubai Fitness Challenge activities, Commemoration Day and Eid Al Etihad come later. Expect themed photo walls, pop-ups and performances that change as the season goes on.
- More flowers, an anniversary theme. The garden's 15th season runs under the banner "Fifteen Years, Blooming Together", with a launch figure of over 200 million blooms.
- Morning events before the gates open. Halloween and Diwali festivals, a breast cancer awareness run, a seniors' walk, a pet walk, a cycling event and a cosplay festival, each with its own event ticket (details below).
- A concert. Stephen Speaks, of "Passenger Seat" fame, plays the garden's Amphitheatre on Saturday 21 November 2026.
- The favourites are back. The Emirates A380, Smurfs Village, the Floral Castle and the Floating Lady all return. Last season's additions for children, a miniature train and bumper cars, were the newest things in the garden when it closed in May.
Dubai Miracle Garden ticket prices for Season 15
| Ticket | Price | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Adult (13 and over) | AED 100 | Tourist rate, official website or the gate |
| Child (3 to 12) | AED 80 | Tourist rate |
| Adult, UAE resident | AED 70 | Verify your Emirates ID through UAE PASS when you book |
| Child, UAE resident | AED 50 | As above |
| Under 3 | Free | Carry something that shows their age |
| People of determination | Free | With a valid POD card; companions may get a reduced rate |
| Combo with Butterfly Garden | AED 140 adult, AED 120 child | The Butterfly Garden part is valid for three months |
| Holidayys ticket | From AED 129 per person | One price for all ages; instant confirmation |
Those are the prices on the garden's booking page on 9 October 2026. Two adults and a child came to AED 280 there, with nothing added before the payment step. Some September press reports described the Season 15 rates as excluding VAT, so if your total comes out slightly higher at checkout, that's probably why. The child rate covers ages 3 to 12; from 13, it's the adult price.
Where to buy Miracle Garden tickets
There are three ways in. The garden's own website, dubaimiraclegarden.com, sends a QR ticket by email and, if you want, by WhatsApp. The ticket counters at the gate sell on the day, subject to capacity. And travel agencies and booking sites sell entry too; we're one of them. The garden is clear that if a ticket from a third party won't scan, you sort it out with whoever sold it to you, because the gate staff can't reissue it. Whoever you buy from, have the live QR code ready on your phone (the garden warns that screenshots aren't always accepted).
Tickets bought on the garden's website are open-dated for the season. The date you choose is your planned visit, and you can move it at dubaimiraclegarden.com/change-visit-date using the booking reference that starts with TB. They can't be refunded.
UAE resident tickets
Residents save AED 30 a head, which adds up fast for a family: two adults and two children pay AED 240 instead of AED 360. To get the rate online, choose "Resident" on the booking page and verify through UAE PASS, which is linked to your Emirates ID, so make sure your UAE PASS works before you sit down to book. The garden says resident discounts may also be available at the gate with a valid Emirates ID. Booking online is the safer bet on a busy weekend.
Free entry and free tickets
- Children under 3 go free. Bring a passport, Emirates ID or birth certificate in case anyone asks their age.
- People of determination enter free with a valid POD card, and companions may be offered a lower rate. Wheelchairs are available at the main gate.
- Your birthday, if you're a UAE resident. Register in advance on the garden's Birthday Program page. It asks for a photo of your physical Emirates ID and a live face scan, and two free tickets then arrive by email and WhatsApp two days before your birthday. It covers birthdays from October to May. There's no walk-up birthday entry, and visitors on a passport can't register.
- The Miracle Draw. Register once a season with the day you'd like to visit. The garden gives away 400 tickets on each draw day, and if you're picked, one free adult ticket arrives by email the day before your visit.
- Promotions. The garden's free-ticket page had nothing open when we checked. Last season the biggest offers came in spring: UAE residents got in free for the second half of March 2026, and children under 12 went free, with resident tickets at AED 30, until the season closed on 31 May. If you live here and your dates are flexible, keep an eye on the garden's Instagram from March.
The Butterfly Garden combo
The combo adds Dubai Butterfly Garden, next door with its own entrance, for AED 40 a person instead of the usual AED 50. That makes AED 140 for an adult and AED 120 for a child. The Butterfly Garden half is valid for three months from the day you buy it, so you don't have to do both on the same day. If you are doing both together, read the timing note in the Butterfly Garden section below first.
Dubai Miracle Garden timings
The garden opens at 9am and closes at 9pm every day of the week, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Tickets are single entry, so once you walk out, you can't come back in on the same ticket. Eat inside rather than popping out to the car. The garden says hours can change on public holidays.
One thing to watch: in earlier seasons the garden stayed open until 11pm at weekends, and some pages, including part of the garden's own FAQ, still say so. For Season 15, the booking page, the contact page and the opening-week press all say 9pm, every day. If you're planning a late Friday, check the hours on the day.
When does Miracle Garden open and close?
Season 15 opened on Thursday 8 October 2026 and runs until 31 May 2027. The garden closes over the summer for maintenance and replanting, and usually reopens in late September or October. When we checked, the online calendar took bookings up to April 2027; May dates weren't open yet.
Ramadan and public holidays
Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February, and the garden hadn't published Ramadan hours when we checked. The busiest days of the season are the holidays: the UAE National Day weekend in early December, the school winter break and New Year. On those days, be at the gate when it opens.
When to go: our honest take
- Best overall: a weekday morning between November and March. The garden itself recommends 9am to 11am for the smallest crowds, and November to March is when it says the blooms are fullest. The morning light is kind to photos, too.
- Best for photos and lights: arrive around 4pm. You get daylight, the golden hour and then the displays lit up after dark. From November to January, the sun sets between about 5:30pm and 6pm.
- Coolest: December to February. In October, early November and May, afternoons can be well into the 30s and shade is limited, so go early or late in those months.
- Busiest: Friday to Sunday afternoons and public holidays. The parking spaces nearest the gate go first, and the popular photo spots get crowded.
- At night: worth it for the cooler air and the lights, though the colours look flatter under lamps than in sunshine. The 4pm plan gives you both.
What to see: the displays worth your time
Pick up a map at the entrance. The garden is a walking circuit of themed zones on flat, paved paths, and the set pieces for Season 15 are these.
- The Emirates A380. A full-size model of the airline's double-decker, covered in more than 500,000 flowers and plants. It holds a Guinness World Record and is the most photographed thing in the garden. Step well back, or use your phone's wide lens, to fit the whole plane in.
- The Heart Tunnel. A long walkway under flowering heart-shaped arches, and the garden's most romantic photo, so it's at its busiest at weekends.
- The Floral Castle. A fairytale castle covered in blossom, with turrets you can see from across the garden.
- The Umbrella Passage. A canopy of coloured umbrellas over a walkway, and one of the few properly shaded stretches.
- The Floral Clock. A giant clock made of flowers, and yes, it keeps time.
- The Floating Lady. A woman in a dress of blossoms, built so that she seems to hang in mid-air.
- Smurfs Village. Mushroom houses and the little blue characters, picked out in flowers. Small children run straight for it.
- The Teddy Bear. A huge bear covered in flowers, holding a giant red heart.
- Hill Top and the Sunflower Field. Hill Top is the viewpoint over the garden, with a café for a coffee break. The Sunflower Field is a seasonal sweep of yellow under open sky.
Some displays change during the season, and the weekly themes bring temporary photo walls and pop-ups, so the garden in March won't look quite like the garden in October.
With children
Miracle Garden is easy with children: the paths are flat, pushchairs go almost everywhere and under-3s are free. Smurfs Village and the A380 are the big hits. A regular ticket also covers the Kids Activity Corner (flower-themed colouring, crafts, face painting, decorating your own flower pot, storytelling and Zumba), storytime shows at the Amphitheatre and family movie nights. Two to three hours is plenty with small children. Go in the morning, before they and the sun both get too hot. For more ideas, see our guide to Dubai with kids.
Taking photos at Miracle Garden
Phones and ordinary cameras are welcome. Drones aren't allowed at all. Tripods, lighting and anything that looks like a commercial shoot, such as weddings, engagements and modelling, need approval from the garden's management office in advance, and there's an enquiry form for weddings and photoshoots on the garden's site. A few things help.
- If you want the Heart Tunnel without strangers in the frame, go there first, straight after opening.
- The first hour after opening and the hour before sunset give the softest light. Midday sun flattens the colours and has everyone squinting.
- After dark, the lit displays look better on video than in stills. Use night mode for photos.
- Bring a power bank. Between photos and your QR ticket, your phone will be working hard.
Events in Season 15
The morning events start before the garden opens at 9am and need their own event ticket. A normal day ticket won't get you in, and the event ticket doesn't include a day visit. This is the programme so far.
| Event | When | Tickets from |
|---|---|---|
| Breast Cancer Awareness Run (1, 2 or 3 km) | 6am, Saturday 17 October 2026 | AED 99 |
| Halloween Parade and Festival | October, before 9am | AED 125 |
| Bloom and Glow Diwali Festival | November, before 9am | AED 129 |
| Senior Wellness Walk | November, before 9am | AED 99 |
| Walk with Pet | November, before 9am | AED 99 |
| Cycling event | November, before 9am | AED 99 |
| Cosplay and Comicplay Festival | November, before 9am | AED 125 |
During opening hours, your ordinary ticket covers live music around the garden, the Kids Activity Corner, storytime and the family movie nights at the Amphitheatre. The Stephen Speaks concert on 21 November is ticketed separately. The garden announces exact dates on its events page and social media as they're confirmed.
Dubai Butterfly Garden, next door
Dubai Butterfly Garden is a separate attraction beside Miracle Garden, from the same team, with its own ticket and entrance. Inside, climate-controlled domes kept at 18 to 25°C hold thousands of butterflies from more than 50 species, flying loose around you. There's also a small museum of artworks made from butterflies, an area on the butterfly life cycle and a children's cinema. It's open all year from 9am to 6pm. Tickets are AED 50, or AED 40 on the combo, and children under 3 and people of determination go free. Allow an hour or two. You can book a Butterfly Garden ticket with us, too.
The timing trap: Butterfly Garden closes at 6pm, three hours before Miracle Garden. On an afternoon visit, do the butterflies first and the flowers second, and you'll finish with Miracle Garden lit up. And on a hot October afternoon, the domes are the coolest place on the whole site.
How to get to Dubai Miracle Garden
The garden is on Street 3 in Al Barsha South 3, Dubailand, south-east of Mall of the Emirates, with road access from Umm Suqeim Road, Al Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. Search for "Dubai Miracle Garden" in Google Maps and it will take you to the main entrance. There's no Metro station at the garden, so without a car you combine the Metro with a bus or a taxi.
By Metro and bus 105
Take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates, then RTA's seasonal route 105 from the Mall of the Emirates bus station. It runs non-stop to the garden and back, and the ride takes about 20 minutes. When RTA last published the details, buses left every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on Fridays, and the fare was AED 5. You'll need a Silver or Gold Nol card: the Red ticket isn't accepted on the seasonal routes. The route restarts each season, between early October and 1 November in recent years, so check this season's times in RTA's S'hail app before you set out.
By Metro and taxi
From Mall of the Emirates, a taxi to the garden takes 10 to 15 minutes, and it's the simplest option for a family with a pushchair. Careem and Uber both serve the garden.
By car, and parking
Parking is free, and there's plenty of it, though the spaces nearest the entrance go early at weekends and on public holidays. The garden says VIP parking may be available for a fee.
Food, facilities and accessibility
You can't bring your own food or drink, so no picnics and no barbecues. You won't go hungry, though: there are more than 30 food, drink and shopping outlets inside. They range from an international food court with Arabic, Italian and Indian options to family restaurants, fast food, shawarma and corn stalls, fresh juice, coffee, bubble tea and gelato. The Hilltop Café has a view over the whole garden, and vegetarian options are easy to find. Everything is extra to your ticket, so budget for it, and buy your water inside.
There are toilets, including accessible ones, around the garden, plus prayer rooms for men and women with ablution areas, first aid, free Wi-Fi in the main areas and a souvenir shop. A seasonal bazaar sells crafts and clothes from local artisans. The paths are paved and suit wheelchairs and pushchairs almost everywhere, though a few raised viewpoints have steps. You can borrow a wheelchair at the main gate (you may be asked to leave ID as a deposit), and the garden says mobility carts may be available; ask on arrival. If you lose something, go to the main gate or the nearest security point. It's an easy outing for visiting parents and grandparents: flat paths, plenty of benches and no rush.
Rules and what to bring
- Not allowed: outside food and drink, pets (certified service animals excepted), drones, bicycles, scooters, hoverboards, balls and barbecues. Smoking is banned throughout the garden.
- The flowers stay put. Don't pick them or step into the beds, and sit only in the marked seating areas.
- What to wear: there's no strict dress code. Modest, comfortable clothes and good walking shoes are right, with sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen. From December to February, a light layer helps in the evening.
- What to bring: your QR ticket (the live code, not a screenshot), a charged phone and power bank, and ID for anyone on a resident, under-3 or POD rate.
- Weather: the garden may close for a while in severe weather, and tickets aren't refunded for weather closures. If rain is forecast, check the garden's social media before you leave home.
For problems with a ticket bought on the garden's own website, its helpline is +971 50 735 2833 and the email is support@the-miracle-garden.com; have your TB booking reference ready.
What a visit costs
Ticket costs at the garden's Season 15 prices:
| Who | Miracle Garden only | With the Butterfly Garden (combo) |
|---|---|---|
| Couple, tourist rate | AED 200 | AED 280 |
| Two adults and two children (3–12), tourist rate | AED 360 | AED 520 |
| Two adults and two children (3–12), resident rate | AED 240 | Shown after resident verification |
On top of that come food and drinks inside, and getting there: a few dirhams each way by Metro and bus on a Nol card, a short taxi from Mall of the Emirates, or nothing for parking if you drive. For more ways to keep a Dubai trip affordable, see Dubai on a budget.
Is Dubai Miracle Garden worth it?
For most visitors, yes. It's worth it if you like colour, photographs and an easy walk, if you have small children, or if you're showing parents round Dubai. It's less worth it if you're short of time and not interested in flowers, if you can only go on a Saturday afternoon and hate crowds, or if you're expecting a botanical garden full of rare plants. If you're a resident who went last year, the weekly themes and the changing displays make a repeat visit worthwhile, and the resident rate takes the sting out of the price.
Pair it with another Dubai day out
Miracle Garden opens at 9am and Global Village doesn't open until 4pm, so the two make a natural pair, even without a car. Spend the morning among the flowers, take bus 105 back to Mall of the Emirates for lunch, then catch route 106 from Mall of the Emirates to Global Village for the evening. It's a long day with small children, but a good one. You can book Global Village tickets with us. If it's your first time in Dubai, the Dubai Frame and the Burj Khalifa are good on another day, and our guide to the best time to visit Dubai explains why the Miracle Garden months are also the best months for everything else.
Book your Miracle Garden tickets with Holidayys
Our Miracle Garden ticket is from AED 129 per person, one price for adults and children, with instant confirmation. It covers entry to the garden; food is extra, and parking at the garden is free anyway. It's non-refundable once confirmed, so choose your date with care. When you book with us, we're your seller: if anything goes wrong with your ticket, message us on WhatsApp at +971 4 589 0001 with your booking reference. If you're planning a few days in Dubai, or bringing family over on a UAE visit visa, we can put Miracle Garden on the same booking as the Butterfly Garden, Global Village or a desert safari, or build it into one of our Dubai holiday packages. You can also reach us through the contact page.
