South Africa visa

Flag of South AfricaCape Town

South Africa has moved to an Electronic Travel Authorisation, applied for online with biometrics captured digitally rather than at a mission, and linked to the passport you applied with — so it has to be the passport you travel on. The condition that ruins itineraries is the airport: the electronic route is only valid if you land at OR Tambo, Cape Town or Lanseria, so a cheap flight into a different airport can quietly invalidate the visa you hold. Work is not permitted on it under any circumstances. We check the routing against the visa before the flights are booked, not after.

How the process works

  1. Free eligibility check

We confirm which visa applies to your nationality and residency.

  2. Document preparation

Your file is reviewed and corrected before anything is submitted.

  3. Appointment & submission

We book the appointment and guide you through biometrics.

  4. Tracking & collection

We track the application and hand back your passport.

Documents you'll usually need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages
  • UAE residence visa copy (valid at least 3 months)
  • Emirates ID copy (front and back)
  • Recent passport-size photographs to embassy specification
  • Bank statements for the last 3-6 months
  • Employment contract or NOC letter from your employer
  • Confirmed flight and hotel reservations
  • Travel medical insurance for the trip duration

Requirements vary. South Africa may ask for additional documents depending on your nationality and purpose of travel. Send us your details and we'll confirm the exact list before you start.
